THE BUENA VISTA or PLANTATION
The Buena Vista or Plantation saddle is a piece of southern history, well known for it's incredible comfort built on Mr. Millers most generously sized "suspended seat". A large roomy seat covered in buttery glove leather, medium twist (it looks like it's wide and flat, but it has a twist), stirrups hung just slightly forward. A very close contact saddle. Can be built english, western, or a combination of both at no extra charge. Available in sizes 17 (15 - 16.5 +) and 19. Regular tree (6" gullet and 12" at the flare) and wide tree (7" gullet and 13" at the flare). Weighs about 24 lbs, and 27" long in the round skirt, 2" shorter and a little lighter built in the split skirt (see photos below).
