Aussie Lite
We’ve taken a tried-and-true design and made it ours by lightening up the weight considerably and most importantly, making this safe, secure seat available on any of our dozens of Steele Trees, from pony to draft, long ears, gaited, any equine. Fitting for the animal is one of our specialties, and it sets our saddles apart from most saddles that are sold in one or two tree fits. This is a close contact, low center of gravity, super safe riding saddle, built with traditional poleys which are not folded over your thigh. We build it with a padded narrow twist seat, 4” deep dish cantle (can be built with a 3” or 5”), open butterfly skirt in the rear for complete spinal clearance front to back, your choice of rigging center fire adjustable position English or western, or in- plate ring western rigging, and several stirrup choices. It comes in all the colors, smooth or rough out, tooling, hard seat with padded inlay, Jwatt stainless conchos, strings, stainless trail/britchen hardware, felt or shearling underside, horn or no horn.
