Crooked Creek Saddles are hand built by the same saddlers in the eastern side of USA who build our Double Diamond Custom Saddlery. We've combined our talents and am now offering the same quality workmanship, the same quality materials, Steele trees, but with a FAST TURNAROUND and LOWER PRICE.
We will have inventory on site at Double Diamond, or we can ship to you. Don't see what you want, then order it and we can turn it around within approximately 8-10 weeks on the in-stock trees. And the price? $2589
1. Two styles: the Wade Buckaroo Trail Saddle and the Association Texan Trail saddle. They both weigh approximately 24 lbs.
2. Tree Fits:
- Steele NE that fits many horses and mules with a straighter topline and more of a quarter horse build
- Steele X tree that has proven to be another all around fit for the rounder shouldered often mutton withered fully developed equine including some draft crosses. I have built on the X tree for round Paso Finos and draft cross mules!

Need custom fit? We can do that by fitting any of our Steele Fit trees. Add $300 to your price and add about 3 weeks to your time.
3. Options: Four colors, 3-4 tooling options, padded seat or suspended seat, a secure 5" cantle, JWatt conchos and strings and rings, felt underside, in skirt single ring western rigging, round or square skirt, rear D ring for a cinch or center fire rigging, pre-shaped all leather fenders, cheyenne roll or pencil roll cantle binding and 3 stirrup options.
4. Seat sizes: 15", 16", 17" - and 18" by special order
Backed by a lifetime warranty on the tree and workmanship.
You can also build a matching headstall and breast collar, rear cinch and mule britchen. And there are some upgrades: visit the order form for more information.
