The Lumiere saddle is basically the TEK I with an incredibly comfortable PADDED suspended ground seat and seat jocky (the part under your thigh), and soft seat leather tubes over the biothane leathers. It our most pared down model weighing in at 13 pounds. You can build the Lumiere with a taller or lower pommel, a 3” or 4” roll over cantle, suede or smooth seat leather. It is a single skirted saddle with skirting that is open in the rear for complete spinal clearance, 3 position adjustments of your stirrup leathers, English center fire adjustable rigging, western adjustable center fire, and endurance stirrups. Lots of stainless steel rings for gear. It can be built on Steele Saddle Trees for drafts, horses of all body styles, mules and donkeys, cob size, gaited . . . all equines. It’s a very pared down close contact, short, light, balanced endurance trail saddle with only your rigging between you and the animal. Fenders, bucking rolls, tooling and more extras can be added.

Base prices are for saddles built on a Steele Saddle Tree quarter horse or semi quarter horse tree. Should you choose to build your saddle on a specific custom fitted tree by Steele Saddle Tree (which includes fitting face to face or from afar and the time to evaluate videos and tracings to choose a fitted tree, and custom fitting guidance after you receive your saddle), add $100 to the price of each saddle.
